Refund & Cancellation Policy

REFUND POLICY FOR CANCELLATIONS AND TRANSFERS V13

 

Cancellations or transfers for all training course bookings must be made by telephoning our Customer Care Team.

 

 

CANCELLATIONS

 

Cancellation of public training courses held at our campuses, not including Scaffolding courses or packages or Rigging courses or packages (including Dogging if applicable):

    *  If you give us 5 or more business days^ notice: Refund of course fee* less $110.00 per course

    *  If you give us less than 5 business days^ notice: No Refund of Course Fee*

 

Cancellation of public training courses held at our campuses for Scaffolding courses or packages and Rigging courses or packages (including Dogging if applicable). Due to requiring a minimum number for assessment purposes:

    *  If you give us 10 or more business days^ notice from the first day of the course or package start date: Refund of course fee* less $110.00 per course

    *  If you give us less than 10 business days^ notice from the first day of the course or package start date: No Refund of Course Fee*

For all courses:

    *  If you are withdrawn for disciplinary reasons after the course commences: No refund provided

    *  If you do not show up for your course: No refund provided

 

* Full Refund of WorkSafe Fee if applicable
^ Business Day means a day except a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday

 

 

TRANSFER TO ANOTHER DATE OF THE SAME COURSE

 

Transfer of public training courses held at our campuses, not including Scaffolding courses or packages or Rigging courses or packages (including Dogging if applicable):

    *  If you give us 5 or more business days^ notice: No Charge

    *  If you give us less than 5 business days^ notice: $110 per course

 

Transfer of public training courses held at our campuses for Scaffolding courses or packages and Rigging courses or packages (including Dogging if applicable):

    *  If you give us 10 or more business days^ notice from the first day of the course or package start date: No Charge

    *  If you give us less than 10 business days^ notice from the first day of the course or package start date: $110 per course

   

Notes:

    *  No Transfer is allowed to a different course – this will be considered as a cancellation of the course and the appropriate fees will be charged

    *  Only one Transfer per course/package is allowed. Subsequent transfer requests will be considered as a cancellation and the appropriate fees will be charged

 

 

REFUNDS

 

To apply for a refund, you will need to contact our Customer Care Team by telephone or email to obtain the Refund Request Form. The written claim must be submitted on the Refund Request Form to Customer Care.

 


The RTO will pay the refund to the same person or body from whom the payment was received on behalf of the student. The refund will be processed to the same method of payment, for example if the payment was made by credit card then the refund will be processed to the credit card. All refunds will be paid electronically and no refund will be in cash.

 


Approved refunds will be processed within 28 business days of the request being received.

 


Mitigating circumstances warranting the waiving or partial application of this policy are individually judged on merit and any such reconsideration shall be at the full discretion of the CEO/Managing Director.

 

 

REFUNDS DUE TO NON-DELIVERY OF COURSE BY RTO

 

We reserve the right to cancel any course if insufficient enrolments are received or minimum numbers for assessment are not reached. You will be notified and offered alternate training dates or a full refund.

 

 

APPEALING REFUND DECISIONS

 

You have the right to appeal a refund decision made by the RTO by accessing the Complaints and Appeals Policy and Procedure.


This policy and the availability of Complaints and Appeals processes, does not remove your right to take action under Australia’s consumer protection laws.
